About us

This is the site of Dio Surbakti, a one-person practice working in independent architectural photography: finished buildings, unoccupied interiors, materials and details, and construction records, delivered as edited files with a written licence. Its job is simple: describe what we do, show how to reach us, and put the person behind it on record.

The work we do

Our work is independent architectural photography: finished buildings, unoccupied interiors, materials and details, and construction records, delivered as edited files with a written licence, for customers in the area we serve. When an enquiry comes in through this site a person reads it and answers with what can be done, how long it would take and what it would cost. Nothing is paid for on this website.

How it works

1. Write to us with what you are after and how to contact you.
2. A person replies with availability, a timescale and a quote in writing.
3. Nothing becomes binding on this page; that happens directly with us, in writing.

What you will not find here

• No ratings, customer numbers or sales figures that we could not back up.
• Illustrations are drawn to show the kind of work we do; they are not passed off as photographs of it.
• No card or bank details are requested here or by email.

Where the name comes from

The name Dio Surbakti is taken from Dio Rosadi Sahputra Surbakti, the independent photographer who does this work and in whose name diosurbakti.online is registered. There is no earlier website behind this address: every page here was written for this domain, in English, for readers in the United States.
